Adarza Biosystems, Inc. is an exciting early-stage company based in Maryland Heights, MO developing label-free protein microarray assays based on the Company’s proprietary Arrayed Imaging Reflectometry (AIR™) technology. We are currently seeking an experienced, talented and highly analytical Supply Chain Manager to join our Finance team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, leading or supporting multiple projects as part of a rapidly growing company with sights set on impacting research in life sciences and clinical diagnostics.

Responsibilities:

Drive supply planning process alongside Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure short and long term goals can be met

  • Partner with Marketing to validate demand plan and understand key demand drivers
  • Utilize ERP to manage detailed inventories of materials and supplies located at the company site
  • Analyze and set item replenishment parameters based on product category, velocity, and lead time
  • Identify and resolve supply shortfalls by working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to formulate actions plan to prevent stock out
  • Lead efforts in building KPIs and metrics to measure supplier performance, develop plan for improvements
  • Maintain a professional relationship with suppliers and develop overall negotiation strategies
  • Collaborate with Marketing to negotiate pricing and vendor contracts and secure lots for qualification and long term supply of materials
  • Facilitate documentation of supply chain planning processes and workflows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field of study
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
  • Understanding of principles of accounting or finance
  • Scientific knowledge and understanding of key partner businesses in the biological reagent space is preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must be detail oriented, with strong process improvement and problem-solving experience
  • Excellent Excel modeling and forecasting skills, and experience with BI tools
  • Experience in ERP/MRP systems is preferred
  • Ability to work effectively and creatively in a lean environment
